The founding team came out of HP, Meta, Microsoft, Sapiens, and several leading AI companies. Across those careers, they kept running into the same problem: enterprises running on systems that no single person fully understood. Core banking platforms. Insurance policy engines. Logistics infrastructure. Decades of business logic accumulated in COBOL, PL/I, and aging Java codebases, with the original authors long gone and the documentation either missing or wrong.

Modernization projects kept stalling for the same reason. Teams would start with good intentions, then spend months just trying to understand what the existing system actually did before writing a single line of new code. Some projects failed outright. Others delivered a fraction of what was promised, because critical business rules stayed buried and got lost in translation.

Replai exists to fix that specific problem. The platform maps the business meaning inside legacy codebases so modernization teams can see what they're working with before they touch anything.
